The trends are occurring across the state. Frontier Airlines in a news release Tuesday said it will begin nonstop flights between Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and Atlanta on June 11, the latest of many recent announcements of more service to warm states. “This is unique for our size of airport and is more than a 50% increase compared to summer 2019,” spokesperson Mindy Kershner said. Nonstop flights are expected to operate to 14 different destinations in Florida this summer from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), with more than 200 weekly flights. There are also fewer flights operating back and forth from business destinations, officials confirm. Overall, this hotel has the potential to be a great place for guests to stay. The joke just went flat and I don't think he realizes how unprofessional that was.
He was trying to be funny but he was not funny at all. We had gone to a convenience store nearby to pick up some snacks, and this gentleman made an awkward joke about us not being allowed to bring the snacks inside. Lastly, our group had an awkward encounter with one of the gentlemen working the front desk. After the power to the building was restored, the elevator was still not operable. Perhaps due to the power outage, but maybe not. Another problem we encountered was that the elevator had stopped working during our stay. Very bizarre, and then it happened again on Saturday night. and I sleep with a CPAP which of course stopped working as well due to the outage. We kept the fan running constantly which stopped during the Friday night outage. but on the first night, it happened after my friend and I had turned in for the night. Fortunately, the outages only lasted no more than 15 minutes each night. It was strange because it did not appear that any other buildings near the hotel had lost any power. Apparently, the hotel staff didn't know either when we asked about it on Sunday morning.
Very inconvenient, and we have no idea what caused the outage. First, the power to the building mysteriously went out at the same time both nights during our stay (around 10 p.m.). There were a couple of significant problems during our stay. Also, breakfast is available, but we opted to eat breakfast elsewhere for the two mornings of our stay. The hotel has an indoor pool (no hot tub, unfortunately). I appreciated being able to use the business center computer in the lobby. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. I was in Room #417 with one of my friends, and our two other friends were in Room #419. (We arrived on a Friday afternoon and stayed through Sunday morning.) One of my friends reserved two rooms for the four of us, and we were fortunately able to have our rooms next door to each other. I was visiting the Columbus area with three of my good friends over a weekend in October 2022.
